Year: 2024 | Type: Single-movement work for orchestra | Duration: ca. 7' 53''
Dedicated to my father, Echoes of Time refers to the resonances of the past that linger in the present, like traces of a life lived amid nature and daily work. Inspired by a poem by César Vallejo, the title reflects how the sounds, images, and emotions of the rural landscape remain alive, like echoes reverberating through time. The musical work seeks to capture that sense of nostalgia and movement, evoking the rhythm of a life that, though distant, continues to resonate in memory.
Notes:
This work was premiered in 2025 by the Cusco Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of renowned Peruvian violinist and conductor Carlos Johnson.
Publishers sell the full score but rent out individual parts. I don't work that way; that is, I don't rent out orchestral parts. If you buy the score, it will come with all the parts in the same PDF.
