In 2020, encouraged by Maritza Núñez, 15 Peruvian composers, including myself, embarked on the joint composition of an opera with a libretto by her. The result of this collaboration was Eclipses, for 2 sopranos and four musicians, which was recorded and presented during the lockdown of the pandemic as a multimedia work.
Notes:
The score for this work is currently being revised. The process will take some time, as the 15 composers must submit their individual contributions and then these must be joined together to form a single score to create the parts.
