Le Parfum de la Mort captures the essence of Baudelaire's macabre vision of his poem Une Charogne from The Flowers of Evil and honors his poetic sensibility. The title itself embodies Baudelaire's signature juxtaposition—"parfum" (associated with beauty and refinement) against "mort" (death)—creating a haunting contrast that permeates the entire composition.
