My trumpet concerto is the result of a commission from my dear friend Franco Carranza, first trumpet of the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru. The concerto is dedicated to General José de San Martín, Liberator of Argentina, Chile and Peru, within the framework of the celebrations for the bicentennial of the independence of Peru.
Notes:
This work premiered on August 19 2023 at the Great Temple of Argentine Freemasonry, in Buenos Aires by the Peruvian trumpeter Franco Carranza, accompanied by the Libertador San Martín National Youth Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Agustín Montali.
The video linked above corresponds to the Peruvian premiere in 2024, with the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru under the direction of Fernando Valcárcel.
Publishers sell the full score but rent out individual parts. I don't work that way; that is, I don't rent out orchestral parts. If you buy the score, it will come with all the parts in the same PDF.
